Ros, after reading the transcript, you are my hero. You held a logical and clear point of view throughout, in response to which Edmonton and Wells had no recourse but to appeal to really the worst argumentative methods - dismissiveness, ad hominem attacks, focussing on the "psychology" of opponents. Very little hard evidence and logic. Amazing that so much denial of any doubt whatsoever despite so little evidence should make fools of intelligent men. And I've got a lot of time for Well's scholarship. But today, you're my hero, Ros.

Thank you both for your kind comments. How nice to be someone's hero, Dan! It was a pleasure to expose their evidential and logical fallacies. I have a recording of the webinar itself (which my husband captured using Camtasia) which I intend to break into 10-minute chunks and post onto Youtube in the next few days. You will find it is even more fun to listen to than to read!
